Keynote, Opening Remarks & Dedicated Networking Opportunities
Keynote – September 22, 5:00 PM
Maryann Martone, Principal Investigator of the FAIR Data Informatics Lab, will open the unconference with a keynote on the future of open and FAIR data, and the steps needed to get there.
She is Professor Emerita at the University of California, San Diego.
A welcome reception will follow the keynote, offering an opportunity to connect with fellow participants.
Opening Remarks – September 23, 7:00 PM
Helena Jambor and Christopher Schmied, leads of the PixelQuality initiative and recipients of the 2024 Einstein Foundation Early Career Award, will share insights into how their initiative grew into an international effort and helped inspire new reporting standards at Nature.
Helena Jambor, PhD is Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons.
Dr. Christopher Schmied is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Molecular Pharmacology (FMP).
After the remarks, join us for a networking dinner set among the towering dinosaurs in the iconic hall of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.
