we are happy to send out our third newsletter with the latest updates on the Responsible Research in Action Unconference. |
|
|

Call for project proposals is open! |
|
NEW Deadline: February 9, 2025 at 11:59 pm (CET) |

Due to multiple inquiries, the deadline has been extended until February 9, 2025 at 11:59 pm (CET). |
|
|
The call for up to 10 projects to be addressed during the RRiA Unconference 2025 is open. Persons submitting project ideas that are selected by the Programme Organizing Committee will act as Project Team Leaders. |
|
|
We encourage you to submit your project ideas and be part of the movement to improve research culture and practice! |
|
|

Registration for the Unconference |
|
Will be opened by the end of April (exact date tbc). |
|
|
Even if you do not have your own idea, but are enthusiastic and motivated to contribute to the realization of a project, you can join the RRiA Unconference 2025 as a regular attendee. |
|
|
Registered participants will work in transdisciplinary project teams to co-create outputs leading to actionable solutions to improve research culture and practice. Potential outputs might include toolboxes, tools, grass roots initiatives, recommendations, or networks. |
|
Opening keynote lecture and interview |
|
|
We are thrilled to announce that on September 22, 2025, Maryann Martone, professor emerita of neuroscience at the University of California in San Diego, will offer an inspiring opening keynote lecture with a subsequent interview. There, she will provide attendees with concrete advice, tips and tricks on how to advance science improvement activities, overcome challenges and implement solutions, based on her extensive experience and activities in advancing open and FAIR data (e.g. data that meet the principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability). |
