RRiA Newsletter No. 1 – September 2024

Dear subscriber

We are happy to send out our first newsletter with the newest updates on the Responsible Research in Action Unconference.

Unconferences are participant-driven, interactive, unconventional meetings designed to maximize the informal exchanges and stimulating discussions that typically occur during networking breaks at traditional conferences. Unconference participants learn from conversations and activities while collaborating to create something new.

The unconference will also include opportunities for cross-pollination and networking among different projects. At the culminating session, each group will briefly present what they accomplished, including challenges, outputs created during the unconference and plans for further work after the conference, including sharing experiences.

We are thrilled to welcome an exceptional team of researchers who will be curating projects as members of the Programme Organizing Committee of RRiA! Their expertise and commitment to responsible research will help us create an impactful and inspiring event.
